Meet Carol
For years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals in the church and community create bespoke funeral programmes during times of loss. I am always here to offer my support, share my knowledge, and assist in providing the most meaningful send-off for each person.
Growing up in the church, I became acquainted with many local members, visitors from other churches, and people in the community. Over time, I’ve seen how death affects us all—it’s an undeniable part of life.
When I was younger, death predominantly affected older generations, with the occasional loss of a young person. But the landscape has changed dramatically. Today, we are seeing the loss of many younger individuals, including my own husband, who passed away at the age of 51. He was healthy, fit, and exercised regularly.
Through my experience helping families with funeral programmes, I’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality work. I’ve had the honor of working with diverse families, some with more complex needs than others, and I’ve developed strategies for handling the more challenging situations. Above all, I believe in maintaining clarity and transparency throughout the process—this approach has served me well over the years.
I hold a degree in Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Business Studies, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. For 20 years, I worked as a contractor with BP, where I held various roles spanning project management, process improvement, business process reengineering, executive assistance, vendor management, and transition and re-insourcing management.
In September, I was invited to enroll in an online course at West Lancashire College, earning a Level 2 Certificate in Creating a Business Start-Up. As I worked through the course, I found myself applying the concepts in real time. It became clear that launching a business in a field where I already had extensive experience made perfect sense, leading to the creation of “Why Celebrate Life.”
